Are you getting pop-ups?

Fri Apr 3, 2009, 5:24 PM
  • Mood: Pain
  • Listening to: The Hunchback of Notre Dame OST
  • Reading: The Cosmos
  • Watching: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  • Playing: Okami (Wii)
  • Eating: Pasta
  • Drinking: Milk
I keep getting these annoying pop-ups ONLY ON DA, for a virus thing, which is obvious malware or something.

Is anyone else getting this?

IE claims to block one whenever I open something in a new tab, but it does that with every site I go to... there are a few banner ads that automatically redirect to something that looks like a "computer scan" that automatically "starts" but I always back out of it before it can do much. But that's not the point, devA needs to screen the ads they allow on the site better, or at least have a "Report This Ad" button.

Do you still not know wherein lies the sin? Therein lies your sin.

Yeah, got it once. oO It was really weird, but I knew it was fake because all the viruses it detected were like "SPYWARE VIRUS" and stuff. Something tells me hackers do not title their viruses after generic nomenclature? x33
